Ngamatapouri has a small but effective staff of five. Due to the numbers here we have a full time teaching Principal. The Principal is released from classroom duties for 1 and 1/2 days per week (three days per fortnight to fulfil their management responsibilities).

Principal at Ngamatapouri School is Miss Jo Mahoney, Jo was appointed to start Term 4 2011.

The principal release teacher Anita Hurley travels from Wanganui three days per fortnight.

The school is also supported by an Office Administrator Debbie Adam who works 20 hours per week.

Also a cleaner Carole Johnson and Grounds person Rob Coe. We welcome Carole Johnson to the staff. Carole was appointed as our cleaner and started with us in week 3 this term.
